Mobile Library & Fundación Nitca /Story time in Public Schools

Following up our Promotion campaign for American Corner and Binational services, our traveler mobile library took its stop at '' Elementary School''  in Sabana Grande, Managua.  In total we visited 12 classrooms and 217 students, 12 teachers from 1st to 6th grade who enjoyed the story time with Flute music.

For this activity accompanied us an expert in telling stories “José María Campos” and Miss Jennie Brenes Fundacion Nitca coordinator.

 Significant activity:

The main idea is to find new outlets to share AC services, sponsor information about the U.S., inform of U.S. Embassy programs, promote the important of education focused in English language learning, and encourage the habit of reading. This activity increases opportunities and exposure to U.S. culture for Nicaraguan public by increasing opportunities for English.
