MOBILE LIBRARY - Visit to Miguel de Cervantes High School – Public School.
This
activity was attended by 108 students from different levels (5th, 2nd and 1rst
grade) and Miss Teresa Fonseca who received ´´Biblio Rueda´´ from Binational
Center Library and American Corner
Nicaragua. As part of this activity students could listen about Binational and
American Corner ´s Services. We promoted our different resources to improve
English learning and how to investigate in the library. They were able to read
about the Children literature, played with table games and they tried to
express themselves painting some photocopies.

‘’ Telling stories on wheels’’ – Mobile Library
In this
occasion “Biblio-Rueda” visited a group of 20 children in Martha Quezada Neighborhood
with the objective to partner ´´Telling Stories to the children ´´ and playing
some games with them. We share scenery with José Maria Campos and Betsy
McWilliams, an American volunteer who works for ´´Telling Stories Nicaragua``,
this woman accompanies the initiative of José Maria bringing joy to the children.
Part of the
program included: children literature
such as: The little chicken in the basket, The stew of wolf, When elephant
walks and Willy the shy performed by Betsy; two more participations: Stories of
bears by José Maria and Family tree by AC. To finish this meeting, children
played a math game which they were able to proof their smartness.
