Conferencia sobre Becas Fullbright, los Servicios de American Corner y Examenes disponibles en el Centro Cultural

El 18 de Febrero 2009, se llevo a cabo en la Universidad Americana una charla sobre las Becas Fullbright dirigida por la Consejeria Educativa, los diferentes Servicios que presta American Corner, dirigida por su Coordinadora y se concluyo con una extensa explicacion sobre la preparacion de Examenes que ofrece el Centro Cultural Nicaraguense Norteamerican. Participaron 29 Estudiantes de las distintas carreras que ofrece la universidad.

Entrenamiento Creacion de Blog

El Taller de Creacion de Blog, fue realizado en el Centro de computo de la Universidad Nacional Agraria. La actividad fue divida en 2 secciones por la manana y por la tarde participaron 38 Bibliotecarios a nivel nacional. La presentacion estuvo a cargo por la Directora del IRC-Embajada Americana y la Coordinadora de American Corner.

AMERICAN CORNER NICARAGUA

American Corner is located in the Library of the Central Bank in Managua, Nicaragua.

It contains a collection of American Literature, Culture, History, U.S Government, books for childrens in English and Spanish, periodicals and many resources on topics of interest for the general public. American Corner has an extensive selection of resources for those learning English and for English Teachers.

American Corner has a small collection of audiovisual resources on: American Music, American History, and Biographies and movies for all ages. American Corner has three computers with Internet service. These resources are located on the second floor in the Library reading area

and are FREE for all visitors.
